I can do that, I just want to see if its possible with these 'sidechain' tools.ĮDIT: I should mention I'm using Logic. Please don't give the obvious answer of just using a regular compressor and using that instead. I don't super want to just automate the mix amount because its kind of wonky and unreliable. Is it possible to trigger these specifically during big moments like the ones in the drop of this song? (not mine): James - Coming Home I want to sidechain everything for when the kicks hit, but LFO Tool and Kickstart (as far as I know) can only duck the volume on 1/4 notes, 1/2 notes, other even divisions of the beat.
Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out how to use LFOTool and/or Kickstart to activate in this big explosive moment where I have big crashes and chords but also kick drums.
